North American P51 Mustang GB **Revived for 2016**
Following on from an earlier GB proposal started here: http://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=10831, there seemed to be a good number of interested members; in order to now get this onto the 2016 GB calender, we need to confirm at least 8 entrants, have a poll to decide a start date and get cracking!! With the plethora of kits out there, pretty much everyone must have one of these in the stash!! If you haven't, the Airfix New Tool P51 basically builds itself so you can take part with little or no effort on your part What's not to like?
The proposal for the GB is for any scale, any manufacturer (kit that is ), and any mark of P51 North American Mustang, including prototype or develpmental, or that served with any airforce in any theatre of operations or war.....the only exclusions are WhIf's
If you could all be so kind as to register or re-register your interest in this thread, and once we have sufficient uptake I will put up a poll to ask for a convenient time for the build. Build period will be the usual month
Thank you in advance for your interest!!

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Re: North American P51 Mustang GB **Revived for 2016**
After my appalling no show in most of the GB's that I put my name forward for in 2015 it's time to make amends in 2016 and I will have a go at this one..... so there.

Re: North American P51 Mustang GB **Revived for 2016**
I'm not sure if I'll stick with my original idea of a TP51D. To be honest I think I'll go for the HobbyBoss P51B and build 'SHORT FUSE SALLEE', Captain Richard Turners aircraft. I've been wanting to build this aircraft since reading Captain Turners book 'Mustang Pilot'.
All the best.
