Ok, that certainly qualifies for several bonus points! Even more if they're 1/24th  :ha:
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

I'd love to take part in this Group Build but unfortunately the P-51 I have is destined to be in a Whif's scheme.

Having just tried Alclad 2 on a F-47 build I must work on my airbrushing techniques as the end result was more than a bit disappointing. Fortunately, the build (a Cuban FAEC aircraft) is not one I especially require so it was as much a test as anything. Trouble is, I don't really know where I went wrong with the Alclad!!

Go up to the Finishing Tips forum, ask your question, describe what you did, show some photos -- probably we can figure something out.

I have now given myself a dilemma, I was going to tackle at least one, if not a few Airfix 1/72 Mustangs, but have just ordered a 1/32 Dragon kit.....decisions, decisions  :-D :-D

I am going to tackle one of the 2 recorded Cuban FAR F-51's. They were unsuccessful Revolutionary aircraft because of being unserviceable for much of their time in Cuba. Had that not been the case then F-47 vs F-51 air combat would have been on the cards.
