Any interest in a 'Between the Wars' build?
While working on my latest builds (an Fiat CR-32 and Savoia Marchetti SM.81, both from Italeri with markings from 1936-38), it struck me to see if anybody would be interested in a pre-World War II build. The build would allow any military or civil aircraft/dirigible/flying machine and scale as long as it is from January 1, 1919 to September 1, 1939. Some World War I subjects will be allowed as long as they were used after the war. For example, a Bristol Fighter F2B would be allowed as the British flew them until 1932. At the same time, a Fokker D.VII would also be allowed if it is in Dutch, Swiss, Polish, Belgian, or US markings. Would anybody be interested in such a build for 2016?
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

I suggest you change the GB title to "Between the Wars" to be clear.

Me too!
Best wishes

Very tempting but it would depend on the date. Log me as a maybe, probably with something by Matchbox.

I've been thinking about this build and I may do HP42 Heracles G-AAUE. This aircraft was based at Doncaster after being impressed into RAF service at the beginning of WW2 and was destroyed due to gale forced winds In December . It will be done in it's pre-war colours.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

If I'm in, I might be going "yellow wings", although that could change ....fredk wrote:Same for me. I have a few RAF silver-wings needing built.jRatz wrote:Probably, depends on the timing.
