Er.....are you sure that's an interwar bird? I'd never seen it before and it looked interesting so I looked it up. Either wiki is wrong, or this is a Vichy French version of the Siebel 204 that wasn't produced until 1942.

Ha! To be honest I was going on appearance alone when I considered it as a possible so thanks for digging up the reference martial for me! It may appear in the cargo hauler GB instead nowVickersVandal wrote:Er.....are you sure that's an interwar bird? I'd never seen it before and it looked interesting so I looked it up. Re: 'Between the Wars'
Hmmm....109s, Spitfires and Hurricanes eh.... now there's a radical departure from modelling cliches!
If you're thinking French interwar, how about the Heller Caudron Simoun? Very neat little machine.
I agree, it totally has that 1930s French airliner/liaison look about it (reminded me a bit of a GAL Monospar too) so I was quite surprised to find it was WW2 era.I was going on appearance alone when I considered it as a possible

Time for a bump.
Taken from August 24th;

[This means subjects between June 29th 1919 thru August 31st 1939]
2. No whifs, just real subjects.
So, anything, not just aeroplanes. Tanks, ships, cars, figures.

Re: 'Between the Wars'
Since interwar ships will apparently be allowed, would the new HMS Hermes by Flyhawk models be allowed? I was thinking about building her as she appeared when recommissioned on August 24, 1939 following her brief refit. Photographs show her in a overall grey scheme. So, I was thinking AP507B vertical surfaces and AP507A flight deck. Would she be an appropriate subject for the build?
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

A real shame about this one. It looks like one of those oddities produced by the French or Czech before WW2

Re: 'Between the Wars' *** GB Forum is Open ***
Just found this. I am looking to build some inter war models of one of the Squadrons in which I flew - namely 29 (F) Sqn. Please add me to the list of participants, which model? Well the choice is Siskin, Bulldog, Demon, mind you it means trying to do silver! My success in that arena leaves much to be desired.
Tony
The older I get the better I was!
Current build:

Ach shure you'll manage.
No matter what silver I use I find a coat or two of Klear/Future or similar to seal it really helps
>> Sometimes as you build bipes some parts need painting silver as you build; a coating of Klear helps stop the silver rubbing off as you work. Thats the way I do it.
