I was just beginning to build this, some years back, when I accidentally spilled an entire tinlet of Humbrol aluminum all over my work surface. The resin parts were laying on that work surface, and got caught in the crossfire.
After clean up and dry time, I packed it up and shelved it.

Then you come along with a Cessna GB idea!
So if this kit is allowed in the present state, you may place a check beside my name. It is my only Cessna.

All the best.

If anyone decides on doing an O-2 or A-37/T-37, I'd be happy to supply pics and info of our two examples at the museum.

Many thanks for that, much appreciated.

You're certainly welcome aboard, not a type I've seen before.

Looks like we're good to go with the numbers. Looking forward to this. I now need to dig through the pile of Cessnas I have to choose my victim or victims.

All the best.

OK Folks. Now we are on the calendar. Plenty of time to start digging through the stash for the relevant kits, or buying them. I'm really looking forward to this one as I've said. Unfortunately there's no chance of me doing my 1/1 scale Cessna 140 in four weeks though. It'll take me longer than that just to to strip it down.

For my build I am still undecided as I have quite a few Cessna models to go at, though the current favourite is my Monogram 1/48th scale Cessna 180.

All the best.

Just found out that 2017 is also the 30th anniversary of Mathias Rust's landing in Red square in Cessna 172 D-ECJB The Italeri kit of this aircraft is one on my shortlist of builds though the 180 is still the favorite.

All the best.

Just a heads up folks. Only just over five weeks to go before the start. Time to drag yoir Cessnas out of the hanger and onto the ramp for pre - flight inspection.

All the best.

I might be up for this build. Have the Airfix O-2 that I have been wanting to build as a Rhodesian 337 Lynx.
But I still haven't been able to find any good shots of the interior. Have heard they only carried 3 seats but not sure if just the pilot and then two in the back between the ammo cans for the .30s or both front seats and only one seat in the back, maybe in the middle.

It would be good to have you onboard Philip. Sounds like that could be an interesting build.
