Re: Fokker D.VII build?
Ah, righto. Well, I'm happy to assume the mantle and if Gadfly turns up and would like to be GBL I'll be just as happy to step aside.
So at last check, we had the following:
Daz
Fredk
Gadfly
Brickie
Vickersvandal
Given how long it has been since this was first floated, can I ask everyone to re-confirm and indicate that they're happy for this GB in 2018? And any newly-interested parties to signal their interest. Fredk, can I assume that's still a yes from you?

Count me in as I've just bought six Revell kits and a stock of Almark lozenge decals.

Re: Fokker D.VII build?
Great to see the resurgence of interest in this. Would you chaps still be keen to build these Fokker D.VIIs if I rolled this into the more generic Air War 1918 group build for next year? I don't think there's enough takers on the forum to run both this and a general 1918 build, but keeping the Air War gb would allow more options for other allied and central powers aircraft (e.g Spads, Sowith Snipes, other Fokkers, etc...)
Let me know.

Re: Fokker D.VII build?
Just one thought, there are a number of post Great War aircraft and film aircraft planned for this GB including the 2-seat C1, myself I plan to model a number of the flyable survivors/replicas, would combining this with the Air War 1918 GB mean that these are not allowed?

Re: Fokker D.VII build?
Ah yes, point well made, David. That would be hard to incorporate into the Air War GB. Let me think about it for a bit.

Re: Fokker D.VII build?
I echo David's point.
I think some of my planned marking schemes are post-1918

Re: Fokker D.VII build?
I'm interested, but my build would be a post-war Belgian a/c so it wouldn't crossover with the 1918 theme (although being the 1/48 Smer kit it could crossover with the Krap Kits GB!)

Re: Fokker D.VII build?
It seems like merging it into Air War certainly won't work for a number of these builds so it's best to keep the concept as-is. I'll do another roll call closer to the time to make sure we still have the numbers.
