How many firm commitments for March 2017? All in, sound off:

1) I plan on building a trio of interceptors:
- Hobbycraft F-89H Scorpion
- Sword F-94B
- Emhar F-94C Starfire
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

It so happens that the latest issue of Flypast has an article on the BBMF Spitfire XIX PS915, which is currently wearing the markings of an aircraft based at Kai Tak, Hong Kong, in 1952.

It also just so happens that I have an Airfix Spitfire XIX and a Mk.24 in the stash, so count me in!

I'm in with either an
F84 Thunderstreak (If I can find Belgian No.1 Sqn decals)
Vampire FB5 (If I can find RAF markings - no instructions or decals in bag)
A-4 Skyhawk (if I can make some tartan tail fin decals)
"Spits, SLUFS and Rock 'n' Roll"

I am a definite - the dates work so it will be a Meteor NF 11/14 of 29(F) Sqn. If that doesn't work then a Vampire T11.

So now we are at eight confirmed participants. How many do we need to get this on the schedule?

Just a quick question:

Would this include an aircraft that is representing an aircraft from that time period? For instance, the BBMF Spit XIX that I wanted to build!

Even though it is a current BBMF Spitfire Mk. XIX with current markings, the aircraft was flying strategic recon missions with No.2 Sqn from 1947 to 1951. In addition, the new markings are for the aircraft that made a record breaking flight in 1952 out of Hong Kong. As long as it wears the markings of the PR XIX flown by Ted Powles, there should be no problems.

And now we have nine in our Merry Band. I would be available to moderate the build on the American side of the pond. Is there anybody on the British side to co-moderate?

Awesome sauce. PS915 it is! :-D

Thinking about it, I could do as many as three Spitfires for this one GB....!
