Summer Blitzbau? *** Complete/Archived ***

Post by Old_Tonto »

Don't we usually have a Blitzbau in August? Can't see one on the calendar!

Or is it just me? :???:

I haven't done a blitz for quite some time so I'll be up for this.

All the best.

I've had word from 'The Man' that I can be GBL. 8-)

Firstly we'll draw up a list of contenders
1. Old_Tonto
2. fredk
3. jssel
4. Gregers
5. jRatz
6. TimJ
7. iggie
8. lancfan [possible]

I reckon we'll have it during August as that has been the usual month for the 2nd Blitzbau each year, thus there is no need for a date poll.

By my counting I believe this is Blitzbau XIX [19, nineteen]

I think I have an Airfix Spitfire XIX which might suit being blitzed.

I've got a week off work in August so I should be able to fit something in.

Cheers fred, it has been some time since I last blitzed a kit- I would probably start at noon on a Saturday to finish the following day at the same time.

Just over 3 weeks to go till this starts.
Start looking to those paints and decals. There's enough time to order them in.
Is that kit still in that special place in the stash pile?
Where are those resin and photo-etch bits for it?

Anyone have anything they really need to get built for SMW?
Why not aim to get it done in a blitz?
