Unfortunately, SWMBO has decided we must go off for that 1st weekend which is ideally when I would be working the exterior paint to create the rib-effect. That is the same time I would be amusing myself, getting a start on the various strut and interior wood, so I will really start from behind.

Regardless, I'm counting the days ....
I'm sure she wouldn't mind one bit if you took all the hobby gear and a spare workbench...... :P

Hope it doesn't put you too far behind though.

I'm counting down the days too. It has been work-eat-sleep-repeat for the last few months, only without so much of the eating and sleeping. I'm starting to emerge tentatively from the fog of work so it'll be nice to have this camel build to focus on.

Too much of my first few days involves spraying -- there might be objections from SWMBO and our hosts.

I think I can at least do the base spray of all wooden parts, maybe some others, on the 1st.
Perhaps I could take some of the parts along and mask all the ribs, formers, etc.

I like the variety of builds that are piling up now - 1/28 version, two seater. It's all good

Next thing they'll be complaining about the pile of carcinogenic urethane sanding dust......some people!

Masking would certainly lend itself to vacation conditions. That reminds me, I need to check that I have a suitably light almost-white ghost grey for my Comic.
