Many 'experts' say it should be BFW to the late C or early D version, then BF from late D thru to G2 then ME from late G2 onwards.
RAF pilots almost always just used ME from the E version onwards in their log book reports

It should be 'BF' as this stood for Bayerishe Flugzeug Werke- Bavarian Aeroplane Works, the original factory where the '109 was built.

Agreed - it's the bf109 as Mr Messerschmitt wasn't working for his own company at that point IIRC - is that right David?

I think the same goes for the 110.

Remember the GB Covers any version of the 109 including the Buchon and Avia S199, any scheme and any scale.

Anyone else want to build a 109?

Is this Build still a thing? And when is it as I see no defined start time. I thought it was this month.

According to the GB/SB Calendar it begins on March 25, ending on April 30.

As we get closer to this I will have to pick the first model-but I can't, so- will you GB'ers pick one for me? the first one to get three votes from within the GB crew will be the first one that I build.
