Re: Messerschmitt 109 STGB *Poll Added*
Many 'experts' say it should be BFW to the late C or early D version, then BF from late D thru to G2 then ME from late G2 onwards.
RAF pilots almost always just used ME from the E version onwards in their log book reports

It should be 'BF' as this stood for Bayerishe Flugzeug Werke- Bavarian Aeroplane Works, the original factory where the '109 was built.

Agreed - it's the bf109 as Mr Messerschmitt wasn't working for his own company at that point IIRC - is that right David?lancfan wrote:It should be 'BF' as this stood for Bayerishe Flugzeug Werke- Bavarian Aeroplane Works, the original factory where the '109 was built.
I think the same goes for the 110.
Stuart Templeton I may not be good but I'm slow...

Is this Build still a thing? And when is it as I see no defined start time. I thought it was this month.

As we get closer to this I will have to pick the first model-but I can't, so- will you GB'ers pick one for me? the first one to get three votes from within the GB crew will be the first one that I build.
