Indiana Jones GB

Post by iggie »

I have no idea why this idea for a GB popped in to my mind this morning, but just a thought for a light hearted GB:
Any plane, vehicle, ship etc. as long as it has appeared in an Indiana Jones movie......

Discuss!
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Second one I think. A mate of mine doubled up for Sean Connery in the bits that required stunts and no Scottish accent :)

Think it was the third one, Last Crusade. Anyway, sounds interesting as long as a model can be found.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

The necessary info is at the end of the article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tank_Mark_VIII; - some scratchbuilding required.

There is a great chase scene with a motorcycle/sidecar combo carrying Indie & his Dad which I've always fancied building. Might be beyond my skills though. :???:

And of course that rather funky swept wing prop plane from the first movie is very cool.

Do you have a list of what might be goer's for this one, to help encourage participation. Whilst I know I have sat through some (maybe all? no idea ) of the films I cannot recall the plot of any of the films or what happened in them

I'm sure the production company will be pleased to hear their output was so memorable!
That's a good shout though about a list, I'll see what I can sort out......

This is a smashing idea! I always fancied trying to make one of the 'Messerschmitts' (Pilatus P2s) from 'The Last Crusade'
