Go for it - keep us Lightning boys company!

If the section gets used more - it might become less of a backwater.

I think perhaps Gadfly should be the one to do that. This is his proposal after all :)

Oh I agree - I was making a general comment.

I do agree with Gadfly's comment though - the SB board is a bit of a forum backwater, which is shame as it's not a bad concept. It'd be good to see it be used more frequently. Some of the SB's we've had over the years have been very interesting.

Cheers

Why not turn your 'Lightning' SB into a 'English Electric SB' thus accommodating both Canberra's and Lightnings.... or compile the numbers in both SB 'camps' and run an 'Electric Xmas' festive GB....

Maybe we should go straight to SB status and start a thread. I have 2 to build from different ends of the styrene spectrum. First a new tool Airfix 1/48th B.2 which will find a place with the Cold War SIG and, second, a 1/72 Frog repop B (I).8 which is intended to grace the CBK SIG table at SMW next year.

Shall we begin? 8-)

I moved that thread into the SB Workbench.
The forum is poorly designed and there shouldn't be posts at the top level, so I've locked it for now -- the subforums are not locked and you can build away, etc.
Let me know if there are any problems and I'll fix them now. I'm going to re-organize it over the holidays.

I did wonder about that - It shouldn't be too hard as there was only the Westland Whirlwind thread there anyway.
