One of these arrived in the post earlier on.

I had a quick look at it just now and, lo and behold, it includes an option to build one of Saburo Sakai's aircraft.

Sorted!

Hi,

the list in the post above is correct for participants and subjects I believe.

Anyone else have thoughts on a start date?

I'm keen to get it going ASAP rather than waiting for a few months and interest wanes and other stuff crops up.

So shall we say start feb 4th till April 2nd that gives 8 weeks and allows time to finish stuff or clear a space at the bench...

Cheers

Just a re-release of the old kit so should be fun

Nice on the Phantom boxing. I guess it's the old ESCI kit reboxed?? The decal sheets in those new Italeri kits are pretty good.

Yes it's a re-pop of the 1983 Esci kit (with all it's faults, which I may or may not ignore ;-) )

Too aggressive for me, I participate in the suggested time frames.

I propose 8 weeks to give everyone a good chance of completion. When do you want to start ASAP??

Let me know.

I should have the base figure for my conversion by the end of the week and I'll be good to go straight away.

I've been going through my Osprey 'Aircraft of the Aces' books, I have four books that have something of appeal in them, only one or two are different from standard paint schemes. Will update when I've decided and seen if I have it in the stash.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Can we add any others to the list, or is it just one Ace we're allowed?

I may be in with William Barker's Bristol Fighter as I will probably be building his Camel for the Sopwith Camel GB.
