According to my Osprey Aces book it was flown by Flt Lt Brian Kingcome, No.92 Squadron, Biggin Hill, November 1940. It's a Mk.Ib, R6908/QJ-F. Crash landed 9 May 1941 at Biggin by Pilot Off Maitland-Thompson and written off (the aircraft not the pilot).
Kingcome's wartime score was 8 and 3 shared destroyed, 1 shared unconfirmed destroyed, 5 probables and 13 damaged.

So as far as I understand it we are looking at an 8 week build time. Looking at the calendar I would propose beginning of August to end of September (8.5 Weekends). Anyone object to that?

So to recap any model aircraft in any scale in any time frame as long as it was flown / crewed by an ace and achieved 1 victory in the Aircraft.

Figures and busts in any scale ok but must provide a reasonable facsimile of the person being represented.

Mini Dioramas and Vignettes of 'Aces in Action' are acceptable.

For the purposes of this GB Ace Status is a minimum of 5 air to air victories.

What's not in the GB scope. Panzer 'Aces' U boat 'Aces' multiple bombing mission or ground target kills.
WHIF's or Movie schemes.

All good by me. You saved my bacon too. I was still deciding whether to make myself a target and offer to go GBL but wanted to focus on doing that for the Triplane GB coming up and not start spreading myself thin. Glad you stepped in, OT. :D

A question just to clarify your "flown / crewed by an ace" - that would include an aircraft where the air gunner was an ace ?
