Dare I ask if it is time for yet another Spitfire build?

Post by Chuck Finley »

With Airfix having just released a Spitfire Mk.Va in 1/72, Eduard bring out a family of Spitfire Mk.IXs and Mk. XVIs in 1/72, and Revell of Germany bringing out a new tool Spitfire Mk.IIa in 1/72, dare I ask the obvious question: Is it time for yet another Spitfire group build?

Okay, okay, I admit to looking for a reason to build by Eduard Spitfire Mk.IX royal quarto and Edyard Mk.XVI profipact combo and a group build is the perfect excuse to knock six spitfires out of the way. :P
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

No; the time limit - we had a big Spitfire build in Spring '16 so the subject has to wait a while till it can be done again

You could suggest, to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the first of 'Three-in-a-row' Schneider Trophy wins, a Supermarine GB. :-D
