Re: Anyone interested in a Scandinavian Build
Sounds good; I have a Draken in the stash that needs an outing
Best wishes
Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Re: Anyone interested in a Scandinavian Build
i've got about half a dozen or so that would qualify, just picked up at the huddersfield show the Encore(heller) Gladiator with norwegian markings and as im looking to build my 1st biplane that could be it , also got F-5B, for sweden there's a Lansen, Draken, and a Gripen ,for Finland i have Mig21 Bis and a Buffalo and for Denmark F-100F but nothing for Iceland though, so how long can the group builds last now

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

I would be very interested in this. Maybe a Spitfire in Swedish markings.

Any black metal band would do too. Easier on the paint palette. Black and white corpsepaint, and gun metal for the bullet belts :D.

Re: Anyone interested in a Scandinavian Build
I have nothing "pure" Scandinavian.
I have the Mirage Hobby 1/400 Wickes 4-pipe, flush-deck (Town Class) DD lendleased as the HNoMS St Albans (I 15).
I probably have some aircraft decals, for the Tiger Moth for sure, but really not sure what else.
I might be tempted to find a decent Saab J-21, they are cool.
Consider me as maybe ...

hi john i was thinking anything that served in the scandinavian countries it doesn't have to have been built by the country it servedjRatz wrote:I have nothing "pure" Scandinavian.

Re: Anyone interested in a Scandinavian Build
How about a Heinkel He-115 in Norwegian markings? I just picked the Norway campaign decal sheet from DP Casper and have been seriously thinking about building the old Matchbox kit in my stash.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Re: Anyone interested in a Scandinavian Build
hi chuck thats an interesting choice if your in it take's those interested to 5 with a couple of possibles still a bit short to get GB approval but we can let it sit for a month or two to see if a few more get interested in the idea ,i prefer a group build to a shared build myself
