Nice try, but even the best of us may have trouble being there at the finish :)

This opens up thoughts of a totally surreal future;

~ Aye, my great-great-grandfather started to build this kit of a....... Dromedary, I think its called. Its made in a non-recycable plastc.
I couldn't get anything to stick the parts together. Eventually I traced some stuff called modelling cement but I had to get a special licence from the Bureau of Narcotics and Imported Fruit. It took over 9 months to get the licence, had to get all sorts of health and security checks and certificates then do a 6 month course on how to handle the stuff. Only after I the NBC suit, air-flow mask and vapour chamber built and inspected was I allowed 5cc of this modelling cement.
Colour it? you mean paint it? No way, I can't afford the licence for that stuff...........

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

~~~ as I settled down to remove the parts from the spruce tree, as I believe it is called, I realised that the State Health and Safety Approved plastic safety knife was not going to cleanly remove them. Having come thus far, I realised that I would have to become an outlaw and procure some tools that were actually sharp! Once I had ventured into to the criminal underworld, I soon realised that were I to go abroad and source enough scalpel heads and smuggle them into the country, the street value of my haul could finance a paint and aftermarket lifestyle!~~~
Here! Fred!....You realise that this dystopian vision of the future could be the basis for Blade Runner 3...! :-D
Looking forward to this...
I'm 'toying' with the idea of doing one of the RAF's latest purchases - the A-400M.... I already have the decals....
Hi folks,
I'd like to come out of my GB sabbatical for this one. A 4 engined heavy might be doable in the GB timescale.
Regards
I'm still keen as well (good job really as I'm supposed to be Stuart's able bodied assistant for the GB. I've got what I laughingly refer to as a body but I'm unsure as to the "able" bit :ha: ) and I am also coming out of a GB sabbatical with this one as I've not participated in the activity for a number of years. Subject wise, I'm not sure as of yet but I have sufficient RAF types in the stash, both prop and jet powered, to come up with something suitable.
I am still up for this. Maybe with a second line type. Trainer or transport or something. Not sure yet. Had a mad idea about something captured under evaluation by the RAF but that is possibly beyong the gb scope. I will have a rummage through the mess in the loft........I mean stash and see what I can unearth.
All the best.
Righty'o then Lady and Gents.
Just over a month to go on this so probably about time I started to act like a GBL (Still no blooming idea what to build!?!?) - So then, who's still up for it? GB to commemorate 100 years of the world’s first independent air force – the RAF.
13 weeks, April the 1st until the end of June, any subject.
If you can let me know I'll start to pull together a list.
Cheers
Stuart
