I will be off next week to Nova Scotia and won't be modelling again until, probably, late October. I checked the GB calendar to see what I would be missing and what I would be able to sign up for on my return. I was surprised to see we have nothing on the calendar yet from Sept 1 to end of year.
I like and would participate in the proposed Bomber, 60s, Clunkers GBs but they're not scheduled yet. I wouldn't participate in these ones but I think they're great suggestions - MiGs, IDF and Scandanavia.
Then I started thinking 'what can I propose' but so far haven't come up with much: - Dassault, Gloster, any jet with straight wings, VTOL including helos (or did we do one too recently) and Frog and Frogspawn.

How are we going to fill the last few months of 2017?

Good question. As for proposals all those you mention sound good. Seeing the S&M Viscount gave rise to the thought that that kit would make a good SKGB.
All the best.

How about a small scale armour GB?
Or a 1940's only Jet GB?
(I'd be up for a straight wing GB)

Some anniversaries later this year:
75 years since beginning of the battle for Stalingrad
75 years since Midway
75 years since El Alemein
75 years since Operation Torch
70 years since the start of the Cold War
50 years since the Six Day War
50 years since the first Saturn V launch
And 50 years since a few operations in Vietnam plus the fire aboard USS Forrestal
I'm sure I've misssed a few things too.

Wherever there's danger, wherever there's trouble, wherever there's important work to be done....I'll be somewhere else building a model!

few more thoughts fro me...
Interceptors (spelling???) GB
Armoured Car GB
In the Army GB - We've done several naval aircraft GB's, but IIRC not one that marks Army Aviation. And by that I mean, Army aviation in support of the Army when the country already has an Airforce - So AAC would be ok, but not the USAAF.

Fokker Triplane centenary in October? Might get some takers like the Camel Centenary has. In fact, I'm going to suggest it now.
