Me262 NT Airfix SKGB (or 262 STGB)?

Post by Stuart »

With the release of the new tool Airfix 1/72 Me262 does anyone fancy a SKGB of this kit (or an Me262 STGB)?

I'm thinking soon(ish) if there's room in this year's calendar as quite frankly I'd like to build it!

I'm happy to be GBL - And assuming GB rules allow it I will allow whiff's and AM decals because:

A. It'll allow for a greater degree of aircraft to be built.

B. I don't build Luftwaffe aircraft and have no interest in building this kit in German - The 262 though is such an important aircraft in History, that'd I'd like to have at least one on the Shelf.

However I assume the object of an SKGB is to show off the kit so I'm not sure about AM - I'd have to take advice.

Cheers

Stuart

I'm in!

Although I do have a rather large flat top on the bench at present, and would need to finish that first....2019 any good? (November/December this year should be ok ;-) )
Best wishes

I am so in if and when the get to this side of the pond. Luftwaffe scheme will really test your modeling mettle. And it is a truly beautiful design. Very shark like.
I may have to just order direct.

depending on when I would be interested in a single type gb for the 262. especially if what if's are allowed.

All the best.
