I bet you don’t even know the terminal airspeed velocity of a diving swallow?Chuck Finley wrote:You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, you sons of a silly person. I have a B.P. Baliiol which could be allocated a spot in thisChuck Finley wrote:Are there any others interested in bringing some of the more unusual subjects with Merlins to the table and get this build together? The build will be in 2018, so chime in if you want to join in.

Although the engine is actually named after the raptor bird I would like to see purplethistle do his magic and convert a figure to a wizard Merlin person. Not a cartoon one tho, but a more serious version
We allow one or two 'part started' kits per GB occasionally; why not a fun deviation?
If I can get enough people interested, I will put up a calendar poll and base the date off that. The only thing for sure is that it will be in 2018Stevehnz wrote:Any idea when this might happen, I'd be keen but it'll very much be "when" dependent for me & I should know better really .
Steve.
I have no idea what make the kit is. Its stored away in a big box somewhereChuck Finley wrote:Is it the MPM/Special Hobby kit? I have the Sea Baliol in my stash and would enjoy seeing yours in the build.fredk wrote:I have a B.P. Baliiol which could be allocated a spot in this
Thanks Chuck, that's a yes from me then if slightly conditional.Chuck Finley wrote: If I can get enough people interested, I will put up a calendar poll and base the date off that. The only thing for sure is that it will be in 2018
Like a charm, probably. One of the best engineered kits I ever got my paws on.pmmaker wrote:Would a 72nd scale Tamiya Mosquito work?
The Tamiya kit is a nice model. I used the Paragon two-stage Merlins and bulged bomb-bay to convert my Tamiya Mosquito in to a post-war PR34 that really stood out.pmmaker wrote:I'd be in! I've got quite few planes in the ole stash that fit this theme. Would a 72nd scale Tamiya Mosquito work?
