I may go with a Canadian clipped-wing Spit.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

One of the following;
Airfix 1/48th Spitfire Mk Va, Douglas Bader 616 Squadron Tangmere 1941,
Tamiya 1/48th Spitfire Vb , 243 Squadron (have to check the date but should be okay)
Airfix 1/48th Spitfire Mk XII 91 Squadron RAF Hawkinge 1943,
First time there has been a group build and ive had a choice of kits

Re: 'Rhubarbs' ***Scheduled for 1st June***
Go figure on the day it was suggested and without even having a confirmed build let alone date I'm good to go with what I want to build for the Luft 46 GB. Yet with two weeks till the start of the Rhubarb GB I'm still without a subject. AUGH!

Re: 'Rhubarbs' ***Scheduled for 1st June***
I could but I need more then just a kit. I need a history to grab and pull me in. I have two weeks to scour through my collection of reference material. I should find something in time. Of course then I may need to track down decals. But thats a problem for a another time

This idea started with me with a set of Aeromaster decals.
Maybe that would be the place to start.
