I voted maybe as well - I have a tight build schedule but might be able to squeeze something in. I have a soft spot for helos, so I'll try to join in.

Definitely, I've only built one angry palmtree since I started putting on long trousers and would like to do more. What a great excuse to avail myself of one of Airfix' new Lynx kits (erm... when they appear).
Would ya like to learn to fly? Would ya? Would you like to see me try?

There is the Whirlybird GB set for September-October. I am so in.

There is a AH-1 on display in my town and I had thought of building that. I've gone as far as looking for one on EvilBay but thats about it so far.

Hey Dirk, what version are you thinking of. I have a 1/48 Fujimi AH-1S possibly looking for a good home. Although the Monogram one is better (IMHO) this one ain't bad.

I voted yes because I have several helicopter kits, but have never actually built on, so this would be a great oppertunity to do so.

Re: Wasn't there support for a Helicopter GB?
If you were to ask me today I would be happy with a September start date but come September that may change...
