Erm, if you say so. (No armour on an ambulance, is what I'd say.) As an "armour guy" I have to say that most trucks leave me very, very cold. Of course, never say never (I do have a few softskins of various shapes and sizes in the stash).

In any case, I believe I'll pass on this one.

We are coming up on the 70th aniversary of it, i'd be in for something like that.

I spent some time, over a period of post-war years, at the 8th AF Burtonwood Maintenance Depot near Warrington. It still had the tower used in "Twelve O'Clock High" -- wonder if it still is there; I think the remaining runways became a motorway. It was, post-war, the largest Army storage facility in the world, just in case we had to replay D-Day against the Soviets ...

Demolished I'm afraid John. I used to drive past the site regularly when I worked near Warrington.
