Another group Build Suggestion [Part 2]The final poll

Post by Dirkpitt289 »

Taking the top three answers from the previous poll I hope to narrow it down in this last poll. I'm still shooting for an August time frame if approved from the Admin Team

Once you've placed your "vote", please provide a post with your selections and any comments. I'm allowing you to change your vote should you need to. This poll will only last for 7 days.

Thanks for your time guys.

I've opted for Century series and I see that it is currently running at 100%....I'd be in for anti-shipping as well but probably not for Spitfire/Seafire...don't actually think I have any of either in the stash...
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

I voted for Century series, that means 200% of respondents want it.

Anti-shipping would be OK. Spitfires? What are they? :ha:

I've gone for Anti-shipping as it'll link in with the Coastal Command build work I'll be doing on the run up to Telford.

I went for the anti-shipping option - I know, crazy right. :bounce:

I have plenty of options for Spitfire\Seafire so can do that anytime.

I don't have any options available for the century series although I like all those proper jets (not grey ones) & as I am trying to restrict my buying....

Anti-shipping would be something new for me. I have an Airfix Buccaneer somewhere or maybe a Ju-88. 8-)

Anti-shipping for me. I have a few contenders in the stash.

Folks,

I like the idea of the Spitfire / Seafire build as I plan to do an Airfix 1/72 Mks IX / XIX cross-kit to give me Mks XI / XIV, but given the way my modelling year is going, that's probably a step too far.

So, Anti-shipping for me. I haven't got an Airfix Mossie Mk VI in Banff wing colours yet.

regards,

Martin

As I stated in the Vietnam GB thread, the timing of that GB does not work for me at all.

I went for the spitfire Gb as I've never done one of those and would really like the opportunity to do one.

Cheers,

Since not enough are interested in my barbarossa or 8th AF builds, i need something for august, so I'll be in for the shipping with either a SM 79 or a TBF for the anti-shipping build!

In the near future, I'll be building Spitfires, stuff that flew against shipping and at least one of the Century-series aircraft. Where that gets posted can be anybodys guess... ;-)

I know the time for the poll isn't over yet but it looks like we have enough interest that we may be able to schedule a date for an "Anti-Shipping" build. I will defer to members of the Green team for guidance in doing that and what ever else may be required. ;-)

I have one follow up question I like to bring to the membership. Here in the States the month of August is a big time for vacations and such. Is this true in Europe also? The reason I ask is maybe we might want to tack on another week or two to help those that may have family commitments during that time? Just a suggestion.

Now the big decision.... What do I want to build? :???: :-D
