Dirk, all ...

I know what you mean -- we're doing family stuff as we head to the IPMS/USA Nats so 1/3 of August is shot ...

How about 1 Aug to 11 Sep, that's 6 weeks -- or maybe until 18 Sep for 7 weeks ? We typically start on a Monday and finish on a Sunday.

Sep is getting a bit crowded with aircraft so I want to leave some of it free if possible.

"Green team" ? Yup, see avatar ...

1 Aug to 11 Sept sounds good to me but I'm open to whatever the masses want. I want this to be open and available to as many as possible considering I already excluded so may like the armor guys from the start.

August-September should work for me OK.

Even if it's not a Century-series. sniff

Just as well I bought that Avenger. :) Now I'll need to rustle up some bits and pieces for it ....

I voted Century series as I have a Voodoo that needs building.
Though I could find contenders for either of the other GB themes too.

This week I stumbled across a Voo Doo along the Florida coast and it had be chomping at the bit to build one. The truth is as fun as a Group build of this topic could have been I don't need that as an excuse to build it. Of course if there are enough people that really want to do one maybe we could do one of them impromptu GB's we've done in the past?

There's a nice one at the Armament Museum just down the road from the East Gate at Eglin, just off Hwy 85...is the only one I have seen armed with missiles AND with the missile mounts in the deployed for firing position i.e. instead of having them in the semi-recessed carriage mode...

And it's too damn hot anyway...you either get frazzled in the sun or dehydrated by the car aircon...I got some pics if you want to have a look at the last link I posted in my USAF Museum thread http://www.uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=785
