Ground Forces in WW2 North African Campaign
The North African Campaign took place in North Africa from 10 June 1940 to 16 May 1943. It included campaigns fought in the Libyan and Egyptian deserts (Western Desert Campaign, also known as the Desert War) and in Morocco and Algeria (Operation Torch) and Tunisia (Tunisia Campaign). (Wikipedia)
How about any ground vehicle which took part?
Commonwealth, US, French, German, Italian... Lots of options for everybody.
Poll open for 7 days, you may change your vote!
I'd probably do either a Matilda or a K2 ambulance (Ice Cold in Alex).
Cheers
Andrew

Didn't even have to think about this one.
Many, many options available. I could do several!

Not really viable at this stage, with only 5 firm commitments. I'd like more than just the bare minimum of participants to make it a fun GB.

Re: Ground Forces in WW2 North African Campaign
Well we have 6 people, but I'd really like a few more to launch this one. There was lots of interest in the Future GB #2 Poll for the AFV option, so any more takers for this?
Cheers

Re: Ground Forces in WW2 North African Campaign
Looks like we have enough interest. What does everyone think about October 1st as the start date, running for all of October?

Re: Ground Forces in WW2 North African Campaign
I might be a late starter as I am overseas early October and not sure when I get back...there is a great stash growth shop in Brussels so I will definitely have something to build just not sure if I'll have the time...
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

Re: Ground Forces in WW2 North African Campaign
I can't think of anything coming up in the forseeable future that would stop me being able to build, so I'm good with any month of the year.

Re: Ground Forces in WW2 North African Campaign
If it were after Telford, ie. late November onwards, I'd be interested. But if October then it would have to be a no, too much to do for Telford.

Re: Ground Forces in WW2 North African Campaign
How about starting Oct 16th and running until the end of November? We're getting crowded with GBs at the end of the year?
Another alternative would be August.
