Tanmodel 1/72 TAI Hurkus A
It is quite a pleasure to present this model. Long term efforts of our friend, present on our forum, Baris, resulted in quite a successful start-up modeling stable; Tanmodel. I was very excited to get my hands on the plastic, especially since there is no solid date when this kit is going to be available in US.
Some background on Hurkus may be found here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TAI_H%C3%BCrku%C5%9F. While it is similar to Tucano/Texan II, it is a new aircraft, designed to be a main basic trainer of Turkish Air Force.
Model is packed along the lines of premier/classic airfix, with transparencies in individual ziplock bag and sprues neatly packed in plastic bag. Instructions are quite well made (I quickly referenced the CAD-style pictorial with sprues and there are no immediately visible ambiguities) and should be sufficient for absolute beginners. FS, Humbrol and Tamiya paints are referenced along with decal placement guide (also quite clear)
Model depicts one of prototypes and as such is well served with included decal sheet. Decals themselves are the only unknown in the model, they look similar to early SkyModel decals and since I have not used them yet, I cannot say more than they are "in focus" and look quite convincing.
Transparencies are on par with modern kits as are two sprues containing white plastic parts.
Recessed panel lines look good, maybe tad on Airfix style, and will work well under paint. Since I am not much of 'inbox poet', I just end here and write more in workbench 'dept' when the model hits the bench.
Baris, congratulations! I am awaiting next model to be released by Tanmodel.

Now that I like!
Please let us know when a UK retailer or distributor is stocking them, I think this will sell rather well

Baris, that is nice material. I have seen facebook pics of them built and know that it will be a blast to build. I decided to start once Sea Hornet and P-47 come off the bench.

For 20 Australian dollars I reckon you've got a winner here Baris. Good value for money and a great looking product. Good luck with it all.
