Airfix 1/48 Messerschmitt BF109E

This is one of the boxes that arrived at my door a couple of days ago... the other box I'll show in the next review. I haven't had a dabble in model airplanes for quite a while now being into boats and all for the last 30 odd years. But airplanes was my first love and Airfix was one of my favorites, so I decided I wanted to build an old love being both the Messerschmitt and Airfix ;-)

The spruces laid out, only three of them, a total of 107 parts.... and I'm gonna add some and trim away some of it!!

All parts with a minimal of flash, ....hurray for new tooling :-D , details are nice and crisp at 1/48 and plentiful, in boats they become apparent only at 1/35 scale. Plans are plain and simple... lets see if I can remember how to put these things together 8-)
