Matchbox's little brother. I certainly fancy one, but I suppose I should build the big one first. I have a huge stack of etched brass for it.

I'm sure they won't be the only source of extra parts for this kit, but Eduard has 3 new photoetch sets to improve the basic kit if you are so inclined:

Part 1: Armament

I have the first two sets and the third on order and they look like they will provide useful upgrades.

Your right, the set is way over-priced. In a fit of temporary madness, I sent for all three. Now that I've received them, I'm sad that they're only brass and not the anticipated gold.

Isn’t the Blue Devil Fletcher-class destroyer a Lindberg kit? 1/125th scale if I remember correctly. Tamiya did the Fletcher in 1/350, and Revell did one in 1/144.
