If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Matchbox's little brother. I certainly fancy one, but I suppose I should build the big one first. I have a huge stack of etched brass for it.
So many models, so little time.

I'm sure they won't be the only source of extra parts for this kit, but Eduard has 3 new photoetch sets to improve the basic kit if you are so inclined:
Part 1: Armament
Part 2: Superstructure
Part 3: Railings
I have the first two sets and the third on order and they look like they will provide useful upgrades.

Ouch, that's an expensive set if you go for all three!
Best wishes

Your right, the set is way over-priced. In a fit of temporary madness, I sent for all three. Now that I've received them, I'm sad that they're only brass and not the anticipated gold.iggie wrote:Ouch, that's an expensive set if you go for all three!

Isn’t the Blue Devil Fletcher-class destroyer a Lindberg kit? 1/125th scale if I remember correctly. Tamiya did the Fletcher in 1/350, and Revell did one in 1/144.ronbow wrote:I had one of the old Match box renderings and one of the Tamiya Blue Devil destroyers turned them both R/C.
