Manufacturer AMK Avantgarde Model Kits
KFIR C2/C7
Scale 1/72
UK price £10.99
Decal options x 5
2 x Israeli
1 x U.S.A
1 X Ecuadorian
1 x Colombian

First impression when opening the box is, Wow, the box is full and the parts are all bagged up. You get a total of eight separate plastic bags, containing a total of 26 separate plastic sprues plus the large decal sheet and a colour instructions sheet.

The reason for the large number of sprues is this kit comes ready to load your kit as they say “Loaded for Bear” with a total of eighteen separately bombs/ guided bombs and missiles all on their own individual sprues  they also supply two different types of bang seats for the different build options. All the parts look crisp with fine engraved detail and no sign of flash.

the instructions look clear and detailed with good colour four view pictures of each colour scheme, the colour call outs don’t give reference to any paint brand but does give FS numbers.

The decal sheet is impressive and is probably worth the kit price on it’s own.

This kit has put me in a real quandary, delta wing fast jets have never been my subject of choice, but I find myself thinking if I see another, I might buy it, as I can’t see these kits hanging about on the shelves for long and at their low price they are a total bargain and I suspect will be a pleasure to build.

Wow! that is what I call a comprehensive kit and at £10.99 is a steal. Post war jets are my main field of interest in aircraft modelling and this is certainly one to consider.

I bought one last month.

The price / quality ratio is unbeatable. Unfortunately the fins of the Python, GBu and LGB arrived damaged.

Mine arrived today and I have to echo Alan's and Pacheco's comments; for the money this kit is great value with no visible compromise in quality. I would also add that the sprue gates are some of the smallest I've seen in a long while.
AMK appear to be relatively new, I hope they can maintain quality and bake for money going forward!

Built?!?!? of what is this you speak? I thought the idea was to collect many nice kits and keep them in a cupboard to look at from time to time :ha:
