I made comparison with the FROG kit. IMHO Frog was the basis for AZ.
AZmodels made improvements, but upgrade of Frog kit also acceptable. (if price of AZ not acceptable)

Thanks Novokits for the review

I was looking to get the AZ Attacker, but as I have the Frog version I might just build that instead.

Differences in rudder and similar surfaces are interesting, otherwise it looks spot on FROG except for fuselage curvatures near nose, but cannot comment on these as I have not seen the real thing. Thanks for these NOVO. I think I'll actually get AZ kit thanks to your post

Thank Novo that is helpful, if anyone want’s me to do a photo walk around of the Attacker there is the only one left in existence in the Fleet Air Arm Museum only 6 mile from my door.

Just give me a shout if you need photos.

Splash, of course walkaround will be useful.
I heard that the Attacker from FROG it's a kit of prototype, rudder and stabilizer have diffirent size for this reason.

I'll build AZ, Snorry ask me about drop tank and he will build Frog kit)))

Hello!
Yesterday we (Novokits and I) have held the modelling consilium including comparison of FROG's and AZ's Attackers.
AZ surely is the descendant of FROG. They really have updated surface detailing, but in some cases that looks unnatural, like "gills" on jet intakes. To make them AZ takes a photoetched panels, glue them on the surface of master model and go - but on real aircraft such gills not rise above surface like now on kit.
The strange thing is AZ's forward fairings of wing roots. They obviously done them from those of FROG's Attacker (like the whole fuselage) and new fairings have more resemblance to the real ones. But they was made by shortening wing chord at the root! So at plane view between fairing and wing now is a step between fairing and wing... What to do: make new fairing removing existing first or grind down leading edges of wings?
As of belly fuel tank there are barely visible sink marks on it, shows layers of material master-model made of. They even not fill them properly before make a moulds...
And AZ's technical stencils... What is that means: "Keep wheel all from intake while engine is running?" I'm have no degree in English philology nor the aviation specialist, I just speak pidgin a little, so I can't understand this. What wheel?
Of course, this is a mistake, on real aircraft stenciling reads: "Keep well away from intakes while engine is running"...
And there is another 'kosyak' (expressive russian word for 'kind of mistake'): on one side of cockpit you can see the statement: 'Hood release other side' (No 14 on decal sheet, again written with mistake). But on other side of aircraft, according to stenciling guide, should be the same inscription (N 15) So where is the hood release?
Frankly, it is not a such bad kit - but also it is not cheep one. Around 30 USD in Russia, 10 dollars more in Canada... So correcting Frog still is not a totally bad idea... For me at least.
