Emhar F94C Starfire (early)

Post by uavdb »

I just aquired this kit, along with the Revell Fairey Gannet AS Mk. 1/4. I'll review the Gannet later.
On to the pics:
The box art.
Image
The decals. They look ok but the national insignia are badly out of register for my example.
Image
The way it looks upon opening the box. Note no plastic bag to contain the kits parts.
Image
Sprue 1. It has engraved panel lines, somewhere between the new Airfix kits and Hasegawa kits...
Image
Sprue 2. Kind of soft detail, but more than adequate for my style of OOB building. The clear parts seem ok and will benefit from a dip in Future (Kleer?)
Image
Assembly instructions. These look completely usable to me.
Image
Painting guide.

All in all not too shabby. I ordered it from Squadron because it was a "web special" for $9.99.

Nice...looks like it has a good balance of detail for the price...have always liked aircraft from this era so will be keen to see this one when it progresses onto the production line.
