Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

It looks like another terrific new mould from Airfix. Considering their past form with other new releases I'm sure it won't be too long before we see some other marking options. Of course there's quite a lot in the aftermarket world too
There might even be an aftermarket market garden set
Try saying that after ten pints
Thanks for sharing the kit photos iggie.

There's two other releases for later on in the year, the first with 2 civvie options - camo BOAC scheme and a Dan Air Ltd freighter;Dazzled wrote:Considering their past form with other new releases I'm sure it won't be too long before we see some other marking options.

Searching Hannant's by DC-3, C-47, Dakota easily yields 30 sheets now ....

This is indeed a great looking new tool of this iconic aircraft. Civvie options would be of interest to me and especially of the often short-lived civilian operators from the Berlin Airlift period. Hopefully Airfix will also produce this kit as a Vietnam era "Spooky" gunship.Avalon wrote:There's two other releases for later on in the year, the first with 2 civvie options - camo BOAC scheme and a Dan Air Ltd freighter;Dazzled wrote:Considering their past form with other new releases I'm sure it won't be too long before we see some other marking options.
