ESCI F-104G Tiger Meet 1/72

Post by AndrewR »

A very short review :-D

Image

Just look at that funky looking yellow plastic :omg
That's going to be soooo nice to paint. Not.

A cunning plan by ESCI for the decals. Print them over yellow backing paper, so you can't tell if they are yellowed or not.

I have to teach this evening, so I don't have time to do more. In fact the timer on the oven is telling me that the rice is done!

Not only will the yellow take some hiding, the tiger stripes will take some masking!!!
Best wishes

Love those old ESCI 72 kits. Good luck with this.

Oh man that is yellow, more yellow in fact than the Coward of the County. The Tigermeet scheme should be fun to do - all you need is blu tak, strong nerves and a good pair of shades :ha:
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Work is the curse of the modelling classes!

If the horror becomes too much; there is the following to make it a bit simpler.
