Hello from Norwich
Hello from Norwich
Hi there, I am Jasmin, 29 from Norwich, England.
Very much a newbie to modelling, Finished the starter Spitfire kit last week and am half way through the starter Red Arrow Hawk.
I have severe tremors all over my body, worse in my hands, so it is a great challenge to build models. :D
I look forward to posting here and learning from you all.
See you around.

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

A start on my first kit a Hawker Hurricane as been made, a spitfire awaits in the wings and thinking about models to come.

Welcome aboard !
We have other members with difficulty using their hands, so maybe we can offer modeling tips to make things easier - don't hesitate to plunge right in.

Re: Hello from Norwich
Your announcement of "Greetings from Norwich" reminds me of a certain game show of the 70s presented by Nicholas Parsons. You're too yopung to know about that.
Welcome to the forum. I hope you find it useful and inspiring - and fun. I've been modelling since the stone age and still learn from the people on here.

Re: Hello from Norwich
welcome aboard Jasmin. Enjoy the forum they're a friendly bunch I've found never be afraid to ask questions no matter how basic
one tip I would give you regarding the hawk...make sure you put the underwing decals on before the pylons ( I think they're called pylons) I didn't do that and spoiled what was promising to be a very nice model because i had to try cutting the decals to fit
