Hello from Scotland
Hello, my name is George and i was born in Edinburgh (Scottish one), but I have spent the last 25 years in Livingston. I am 59 and married with 2 sons 2 grandkids, 3 cats, and a golden lab. Like a lot of members I did this as a child, pocket money kits then discovered late teen, early twenties persuits, you know the tale. I have been thinking about getting back into this for a long time and have finally taken the plunge I will have to build up paints, tools etc so a bit slow at first, so please excuse any noobie questions. At presnt, I am looking to do mostly WW 2 planes but I can see that expanding. Anyway, thanks for having me.

Nice to see another returnee to the hobby. Hope you enjoy it second time around. You'll be amazed at how it has grown up over the past 30 plus years.

Hi George
welcome to the forum, it's always good to see people like you returning to building kits, just remember the only silly question is the one you don't ask you will find they are a really friendly bunch on this site, who are always willing to answer any questions and offer help.
Regards

Welcome aboard George. It's really never too late to get back into the hobby because one never loses ones modelling skills; although with advancing years and deteriorating eyesight you might want to consider starting off with something in 1/32 scale. Ask me how I know, I got back in at 61. :-)
