Greetings!

Post by PeteA1979 »

After regularly having a look at this forum I thought I'd join. I've been model making for many years(mainly 1/72 aircraft) but I am looking for a starting point in a larger scale? Still learning how to airbrush and currently experimenting with rescribing panel lines. Anyway, hello everyone!

Welcome aboard, Pete. I think you'll find us friendly and helpful; looking forward to seeing your work.
Do you have any favorite eras or subjects ? By bigger are you looking at 1/48 of going all the way up to 1/32 & 1/24 ?

Cheers for the warm welcome! Jratz, I'm thinking 1/48 but I'm just trying to find some inspiration first.

I will post some pics when I figure out how it works. I'm currently building the KP L29 Delfin (which isn't that great) and also trying to rig a Matchbox Stranraer.

Welcome. Why not go the whole hog and get a 1/32 WNW biplane? :)

Finished this kit earlier in the year. It's the Frog Mig21 and no I'm not sure about the canopy framing either. This has raised panel lines and I had to remove the line where the decals were to go. Still it's an old kit that I've never seen built before.
