I'm Steve and I'm an addict...

Post by danceswithwolvezs »

Hi folks:

Just dropping by to say hello. :)

I've been a contributor with Airfix Model World for what I think is between two and three years now (seemed a logical thing to aim for when your interests are essentially modelling, writing and photography) and much enjoy hacking the plastic and recovering from those many Homer Simpson 'Doh!' moments at the bench.

Forum time is a bit limited due to the prevailing line up of projects but I look forward to chewing the modelling fat with anyone who can stay awake while I witter on (and on and on and...) as time goes on.

Hope you're all fine and well and having fun with whatever's currently going under the knife.

Take it easy

Hi Steve,

Great to see you on the boards and welcome to the UAMF.

Hopefully you'll find this place full of some really interesting work - these guys are a great supportive bunch who will build any old crap kit you can chuck at them and turn it into a halfway decent model (sometimes even starfix) - we also build decent kits too.

Great to see you here.

Cheers

Welcome aboard Steve. We do love our modelling but don't take it too seriously. I hope you enjoy your time here and make some new friends. Some of us have met up at IPMS ScaleModelWorld in Telford - we're members in various SIGs and Branches - so now know each other in the flesh as well as on-line. The Classic British Kits, Coastal Command and Cold War SIGs are all hosted on this forum and many like myself will be leaving for Telford within the next few hours for this years show.

I'll look out for your work in an AMW next time I get one.

Cheers for now
