Hello from Canada,

Post by PGAS »

My name is Paul and I have been visiting this site for quite a while and finally got around to joining. I really enjoy the build articles, tips and techniques as well as seeing other peoples completed work in the galleries. I just have to watch out for looking too much and not doing much.

I have been building plastic models since I was about eight or nine back in the mid seventies but there have been many hiatuses since then. I have begun once again to try to get my mojo back. Hopefully I will build some to show, perhaps even join a group build.

Most of my past models have not survived the various moves I have done so not much to show from the past. I am a painfully slow builder as well but I do not want to turn my hobby into work since it is just for my enjoyment anyway. I have a model stash that I can not hope to build before I depart.

My main interests are aircraft from any era in 1/72 scales and science fiction spacecraft.

Cheers,

Paul

Welcome aboard, Paul, from a fellow (but exiled) Canadian from Ottawa.

GBs are a great motivator for me to get something built. You may want to jump into one of those and there's no shame if you don't get finished quite on time (I still have one from February that I haven't finished).
