Hi There,

After many years of getting kits that I knew I would get round to eventually but knew I'd need to learn to use an airbrush to do them justice I've finally got started.

The impetus came from my son who has been customising wrestling figures and making rather a good job on them.

So airbrushing started and that's a steep learning curve for me.

Anyway, I'm now 54 and haven't really built a kit since I was in my teens and have been enjoying reading all the great advice and help here.

Cheers,
Alistair

Hi Alistair,

Welcome to the forum and welcome back to the hobby. I still have a love hate relationship with airbrushing - it's probably me doing it wrong but I'm too impatient to sit down and try and learn it properly. The experts here will tell you two years is a minimum on the airbrush learning curve!!

Get some photos of you work up when you can - we are a very laid back bunch and are all too keen to offer help and advice (even when it isn't wanted :ha: ).
Be nice to see your lad's wrestling figures too btw.

Cheers
Al.

Hi Alistair,
Welcome Aboard ! The easiest way to learn is to participate and if you see a technique used, ask about it.
