Apologies

Post by montessa315 »

First of all, I’d like to make my apologies for returning to this forum back in August 2017, creating some posts of a new model build (1/8 Aston Martin DB5) that I acquired from my late brother, then just disappearing.

The build just got too emotional, grief caught up with me and sent me on a downward spiral.

I’m not looking for sympathy, but just feel like I let people down.

So anyway, back to now. Fully recovered, I have been lurking for a few weeks and an interest in modelling has been returning.
Then seeing the OOB GB, it just ignited a spark and I am now determined to get back into building and complete something.
So it’s off to the LHS Saturday morning to see what I can get hold off.

As time permits I will also get back to building the Aston Martin as well.

Thank you

Alan……………

No apologies needed Alan. Welcome back. Grieving for a family member never leaves us. It just gets easier to cope with. If you need friends to talk with, we're here.

All the best

Greg.

No apology expected or necessary. As I type, I'm looking at a model I started in 2013 and was posting progress on, not as cool as the Am though...

Real life happens and when you get right down to it, this is just a hobby albeit one with therapeutic benefits...
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

Thank you people, very much appreciated.
I know an apology was not needed but for me it was politeness.

Feeling better already and looking forward to being back on the forum. Just hope I can build as well as I used to.
Definitely the friendliest I ever participated on.

If I had to apologise for every unfinished build I have engaged in, I'd be permanently saying "I'm sorry". No need to apologise for anything.
