Both great pictures guys.

And continuing the theme of couples pictures, here's one of me and Mrs Dazzled (Darryl and Mariza), whom some of you have already met, at IWM Duxford circa summer 2015. And yes, we did go for a flight in the Dragon Rapide. 8-)

I appreciate this is a family forum and we don't want to scare small children (or anyone else for that matter), but I (re)found this thread and felt compelled to put a face to my name!!. So here goes, me in front of my ex-wardrobe now display area!....
Image

Yes, I know the facial hair is untidy but it takes forever to get any length on my beard so I tend to let it grow (not go!!). You might just be able to see my Royal Navy VG Lightning I did for the Shared Build, it seems to be flying into my ear!!! (no jokes about plenty of airspace inside please!!!  )
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

I just had time to read through this thread - interesting group of members we have here. Too bad so many images are missing! Thought that since I am new here, I'd join in too.

Here I am standing by the wheel of the Charles W. Morgan. The 1841 whaleship, Charles W. Morgan, is America’s oldest commercial ship still in existence. She is one of the last whaling vessels to sail out of Connecticut in the mid 1800s, when whaling was a major industry of my state. She has been recently restored and is now permanently berthed at Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Connecticut.

And yes, I do have a plastic kit I bought at the seaport's gift shop of the Morgan. I just need to get the inspiration and the time to build it.

Great shot -- Charles W Morgan and you also, of course :)
You know wooden kits are OK here also, just in case you want to do the CWM justice.

I have the Model Shipways 1/16 kit of a New Bedford Whaleboat to get into yet.

If it is the same kit I have John, than it's actually the Morgan just in a re-released box. The one I bought at the gift shop is the same scale and is labeled "New Bedford Whaler". But if you look closely, it's an old Pyro mold of the Charles W. Morgan.

I will build it someday. When I do, I'll be sure to post it here on the forum.

That looks like a very interesting project to put together. A wooden kit like that is something I've never tried to do. Don't think I'd have the skills or the patience.

I can empathise with you there. I get eczema too, usually behind my ears and on my scalp (causes dandruff of biblical proportions)
It can be as sore as hell too.

All the best

Thank you for your understanding Greg, i have had this all over my body and quite severe; i went into a fit last year because the doctors had failed to get it under control. my skin was purple, and red raw in places! VERY distressing, and its why i had my driving licence taken off me, i'mm applying to get it back.
Its even more distressing because i do not want a repeat of last years situation and with my depression etc it seems even worse still! gulp  I managed to get an emergency appointment on Friday to get some attention for this and it IS better, but not cured yet!

Stay strong buddy!, I know a little of the depression side, Mum's condition doesn't help so I know it can be hard (to say the least). People have been great on my Mum thread so I thought'd I show support here.
