First timer here

Post by Obi-Jiff Kenobi »

Hi guys and gals. I'm a new boy here, never having got around to joining the old site.

I'm Jeff, and some of you may recognise my username from such places as Britmodeller and the ATF. As you can probably tell, I'm a bit of a Star Wars fan, but Airfix has been part of my life for even longer. The first kit I ever made was an Airfix Gnat, bought on a school trip to Duxford, and Airfix kits still outnumber other makes in my stash by a long way.

I don't build as much as I'd like, but I'm currently (and slowly) working on the Airfix Saturn V/Skylab in 1/144. When I've got a decent amount of progress to show, I'll post it up.

Hi there Jeff and welcome! I sure wish I had been to Duxford on a school trip. I remember going to a few interesting places but none that were full of aeroplanes!

All the best
