Hello from Cornwall

Post by regan77 »

Hi everyone
My names Gary I have been lurking as a guest for a few days and decided that this looks to be a superb forum.
What can I say about me?, Im a 36 year old big kid, who loves to play with toys........ahem sorry build models. I live in Cornwall a beautiful part of the country.
I have been model building since I was around 10 years old, and unbelievably I have only gotten into building 1/72 aircraft over the past couple of years, I don't claim to have very good knowledge of planes so I tend to build out of the box.
I also build 1/76 model lorries mainly from the 1950s/60s, and also I build 1/25 american car/van kits (AMT, Revell Etc)
Hope I can join in soon
And merry christmas and happy new year to all.

Hello Gary, would love to see some of the lorries you've built. My Dad has a model railway layout he'd like me to populate. Any ideas i could steal would be great.

Hi Gary and a warm welcome to you!
You never get too old to play with plastic toys, you know. ;-)
Hoping to see some of your builds soon.
Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...
