Hello one and all !
Hello one and all !
Thought I'd introduce myself, my names Andy, 43, living near Basingstoke in the UK.
Just returning to model making after a break of a few years (marriage, moving house, kids etc etc) mainly concentrating on 1/144, 1/100 or 1/200 scale kits due to space restrictions !
I build for the relaxation and enjoyment rather than building for the perfect model, as long as it looks like the plane its supposed to be its good enough for me and I'm learning all the time.
99% of my builds are military aviation, from the 1920s to modern day

Welcome aboard Andy.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

Welcome, aboard !
Not many of us in the smaller scales, except for larger items, so your perspective and experiences may expand our horizons.

Welcome to the forum, Andy. I hope you will like it here.
Like John says, there's not many building in the smaller scales here. I'm very curious to see one or more of your models. Building in such small scale requires skills, that's for sure.

Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

If you hadn't posted the coin I'd be sure it was 1/72. They look great!

Hi Andy.
As you are in the Basingstoke area, would you be interested in coming along to the monthly Farnborough IPMS meetings?
We hold them on the second Monday of every month at the Railway Enthusiasts Club Hall, Hawley Lane, Farnborough.
We have quite a few members who come from your general direction.
