Hi from New Zealand
Hi from New Zealand
Hi,
John here from NZ. Pukekohe to be precise. Which is just south of Auckland.
When I was a kid I did a heap of model building which has just come around again for me as my oldest children are now 10 and god a couple of the airfix starter sets for Xmas. The Typhoon and the Cromwell tank.
This has spurred me back into making models and also noticing how the Internet and forums etc have impacted the whole modelling hobby.
I'm also a 'member' over on ATF and local NZ site Kiwimodeller.
I'm enjoying building aircraft mainly.
So hello and nice to be here.
Cheers
John

Hi Johnsnz!
You'll really like UAMF. There is a very helpful community, and very great builds too.

Welcome to the forum, John.
We have several members from your part of the world.
Personally I think internet and the ability to discuss and share your builds is half the hobby, and makes it extra fun and not so lonely.
Hope you have a great time here, and hoping to see some of your models.

Re: Hi from New Zealand
I crop mine to what I want to show and resize mine down to 600 dpi in Picasa, load them into Photobucket and then post the image links in posts here...
Then I hit 'submit; and think about the actual question
There are a number of themed galleries here in which you can upload pics of completed builds and many of us have our own threads in 'Workbench Windows' for current builds and projects...
