I still remember the last time I saw a Mossie fly; Booker Airshow (Near High Wycombe) around 1972 or 73.....beautiful sight, beautiful sound

One of those in the picture is now in the EAA museum in Oshkosh Wisconsin. It is repainted to EG*T. Attended a model contest/show there a couple of years ago and for us early attendees enjoyed an open cockpit night. I got to set in it. I don't think my feet touched the ground for days after.
