Unusual feet...

Post by Jagewa »

A great article today on the 'Vintage wings of Canada' website today, 'Anything But Wheels'

http://www.vintagewings.ca/VintageNews/ ... heels.aspx

Lots of types converted to use floats or skis.

There was a discussion about the float equipped Blenheim a while ago, and this article has some nice photos of it if you are considering it...

Quite like the look of the float Anson, and the colour photo of the Ryan PT-22a is inspiring..

Cheers

Not aware of the majority of those. Very interesting and I sure will inspire a few build. The Bronco stands out!

It's so unusual that it would probably be poopoohed by many a serious rivet counter...it would be an interesting variation to the old Airfix Bronco...does anyone have any idea what kit might offer up suitable floats? I was thinking may be the MB/Revell Twin Otter...?
